Drawings of Sid up for Auction

Postby siddrawer on Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:31 pm

Hi you guys. Thanx again for the lovely comments on my drawings of our boys. It's really cool now because two of my drawings of Sidney which he autographed are now up for auction to benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation. See the link below.

Thanx again!

how did you get that set up to donate them, get them signed, and up on NHL's site?

Well, I emailed the Mario Lemieux Foundation to ask if they would be interested in any of my drawings for donation and they emailed back and said they'd love to have one. So I emailed them links to the six drawings I had done of Sid at the time and they chose the one they wanted. Then I sent that one along with a bonus one to them as directed and they had Sidney autograph them and they put them up on their site for auction. :D

Very cool but the hat needs some trademark Crosby sweat stains.

You should be very proud not only that they generate funds for charity, but that the Pens thought enough of them to offer them up. Crosby signing is very cool too. Sid held your drawing of him in his hands. Pretty amazing.
