They mentioned at the last game that it was the 75th in a row, I think.

Last non-sellout was the Nashville game in February 2007 - 28th home date. The streak includes the playoff games the last two seasons. 11 of the final 12 were complete SROs of 17132. The oddity of the 2006-2007 season? There is a home date early in the season (12th home date) showing 17134 in attendance. Even with that long string of complete SROs, attendance for the season was just under 97% capacity. The low was 12511 vs Florida in the 15th home date. Even that 8-4 Flyers game (16th home date) was only seen by 14150 live. So that's 13 regular season 2006-2007, 2 playoff 2006-2007, 41 regular 2007-2008, 11 playoff 2007-2008, and now 9 regular 2008-2009, for 76 games.

Think of it as 2003-2004 right now. Did any of us ever think this type of streak was possible, something the Cup teams couldn't even do? I didn't. I doubt many of us did.

I don’t think it was said at the time they announced the attendance. They did a “thank you to our season ticket holders” spiel and announced it was the 75th sellout at the same time.

As someone else mentioned, I remember when student rushing only took a 45 minute wait in line to get tickets in section A or B. I never thought this type of attendance was possible and I am certainly glad to see it, even if it means I only get to see a few games a year.

Heck, back in 01-02, and 02-03, there wasn't even a 45 minute wait. I just walked up to the window, flashed my expired student ID and got a ticket.

Yeah those last few years before the lockout were amazing. You just basically walked up to the window at around 7 and grabbed your ticket.
