During the commercial breaks, he finds the nearest enemy player, looks into their eyes, and screams "I MUST BREAK YOU!"
Actually,Sidney looked at Kovalchuk and said"I'll tear your soul apart".
Are you sure he didn't say, "I'll bet you're smarter than Hossa. Wanna be my winger for a few years?"
I don't think Sid would call either one smart.

We have to have a trade someone person at LGP. 8-)

Goligoski is doing an admirable job filling big shoes, but he's a rookie who's going to make rookie mistakes. When everyone is healthy I wouldn't have him in the top six personally.

Boucher is slower than I thought he'd be. He's definitely good with the puck. Looks like he could stick.

I would have traded him last year after his 5 on 3 debacles. He is soff.

That was the game where Mario hurt his hip. Blew away almost that whole season healthwise.

We shall never speak of it again.

Sweet wrister (that might've gone that high because he was leaning backwards but what the heck) and a rocking slapper. Sid's shooting's getting more confident.

The last two games I've watched now is vs the Flyers and now tonight and I'm in no way worried about Sid anymore. Best player on the ice for those two games. The speed, hustle and shooting's there. As I was hoping he's only been having a slow start (by his standards). If Satan now could just start not failing on every passing attempt and shoot when he should I'll really like the first line.

Morrison, you can't be serious. You have to find a team with a surplus of wingers, like Boston has. Brown is LA's Captain, he's not going to be traded.

Army shouldn't of tried to run him

I don't think he tried all that hard. He was trying to put a bump on him, but I never saw Armstrong take a run at him to the degree that he did against Saku Koivu.

I disagree, the one in the 1st period Army was coming, but Sid looked up right before and stopped. It wouldn't have had the impact of the Koivu hit, but it would of been a pretty good one.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he meant Brendan Morrow from Dallas.

That's not happening either, he's their Captain and heart and soul. I'd love to get him or Doan, I just don't see it. Those are the types of salaries that match up with Whitney's though.

I know, but he'd be a good fit here for sure. Dustin Brown isn't leaving LA any time soon either. I doubt Anaheim is looking to move Perry either. For that matter, I'd be really surprised to see Phoenix move Doan as well.

And since we're on the subject of guys that won't be traded here, I'd love to steal Milan Lucic away from Boston.

Agreed. I've watched a good chunk of Bruins games this year, and you always notice him on the ice. He's going to be a really solid player.

So. How many times this season would Darryl Sydor ever lead all the Pens D-men in icetime? Answer: Zero.

Boucher did just that tonight. Shero is laughing an evil laugh right now, petting his evil kitty.

Its not like Sydor wasn't capable of doing that, Therrien was just never going to do it. It was a smart move by Shero, but not like its an overwhelming steal.

Congratulation again to a solid performance by Dany Sabourin. He has come so very far from 06; good to see Therrien rewarded for supporting Sabourin . And, for Sabourin dedicating himself to returning to Pittsburgh stronger this season.

Great win. Can't wait for the afternoon game Saturday followed by the Pitt game at night. Saturday is going to be fun.

True, but Sydor was minus-2 last night and allowed Ben Eager to skate around him and score for Chicago. Boucher was plus-2 and on the ice for all three Pens' goals.

I hope Boucher gets a chance to stick after Gonchar and Whitney return.
