What a game!

I still can't believe what I just saw!

It might take like 11 months and 27 days for this to sink in.

I didn't realize that Conks had taken the laces out of his jersey for the game.

I enjoyed taking a break from family and food :) to enjoy the winter classic, and late, last night game 5.

For the classic, nobody seemed to enjoy the game more than Ryan Malone. I loved seeing the guys who no longer play for the pens again. Anytime you can hear an Irish tenor sing for the game, it will be great.

Game five~ a few pens played the game of their young lives~ Flower and Ryan Whitney.
Got to get them back, along with Sergei.

I was counting all of the guys that played for us in that game that aren't playing now:

Gonchar and Whitney are hurt.

Armstrong, Christensen, Malone and Sydor were traded.

Conklin, Hall, Laraque, and Ruutu all moved on in free agency

Taffe's in the minors.

11 of 20 players dressed that day are not currently playing here. Seeing exactly how different the roster is now gives you some perspective on how impressive this year's start has been, does it not?
