So once's MT is gone, who can we get to replace him? What bout Melrose, think he'll ever leave ESPN to coach again? I mean he did coach Gretzky so he can't have been that bad of a coach, right?

Melrose is a pure genius. The system he'll create will have him stick around for 16 seasons!!!

I always hoped the Oilers would fire Mac T and we could grab him.

Regardless, we need and X's and O's guy behind the bench, not just some wanna be motivational speaker.

I'm off for a while. Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving...

I'm calling that the fix is in and Sid wins it in OT.

MT will never take this team to the Stanley Cup Finals. RS should right the ship before we get too far off course, or blow it again in the first round.

You too. That's possible. Is it possible this game is scripted? If the NHL wanted to market the sport, an ideal ending would be having this game go to the Shoot-Out and having Sidney Crosby, their centerpiece, score on the last possible shot between 3 players. You don't think....nah....

Now I'm just making this up and it's ALL speculation but what if we traded Armstrong, Christensen, Esposito and a 1st for Marian Hossa and that Dupwee guy on Atlanta? Word is Hossa isn't happy in Atlanta and won't re-sign. He's an UFA. I'm sure we could fit him in the cap somewhere. What do you guys think?

Yea, you're way late with that joke, pal.

Colby, Malone, Roberts, Hall, BGL, Ruutu, Christensen, Conklin, and Esposito for Miroslav Satan, somebody like Ruslan Fedotenko, a cheap faceoof guy like Zigomanis on the Coyotes, big defenseman like Gill on the Leafs, maybe a cheap winger like... Dupuis on Atlanta? plus possibly Phillipe Boucher and possibly Matt Cooke and Eric Godard. Though I'm no Rayjean Shero.

NO WAY a team can be successful with that much turnover. If RS is dumb enough to pull all those moves, I'll eat my hat.

I'll have to check youtube. I'm sure someone was desperate enough for attention to actually do it.

If he had more success on the shootout, I'd go with him, i'm just not feeling it right now.

EC = the future of the Penguins' franchise. We have a home grown top 6 winger with him.
