Pathetic effort by everyone not in goal. Can't wait to see MCM's grades.

Sooner or later, these efforts will catch up to us.

You can play 20 minutes against the Islanders and Thrashers and win. Your not going to beat teams like Buffalo without a 60 minute effort.

Sad because Curry played a hell of a game.

I've seen a bunch of people sarcastically mention how interesting it is that Sid doesn't use any curve at all. If you've ever played hockey in your life, you'll understand how crazy it is that Sid uses a curve like that. If you haven't played, maybe it doesnt mean much to you.

... heh

Neither does failing to score on 7 power plays, including a 2 man to start the third.

I could care less about the calls, the refs, the stale popcorn in the arena....the team didn't play the third and they blew another third period lead. 0 points.

Sabres came on hard the 3rd period and the Pens let them skate all over them. It was the exact opposite of the Islanders. Curry was the only reason they didn't put 4 in on us in the 3rd.

Refs were terrible, but Pens got as much benefit as the Sabres did.

PP... I really think they just need someone on the point who is willing to shoot besides Malkin. The three low guys aren't really the issue. Whoever plays the point with Malkin, whether it's Goligoski or Letang or whoever, always forces the puck back to Malkin and Crosby. Of course they can't get plays going b/c the other teams just cover those two and it's locked down.

...can't win them all but the PP has to stop killing the team's momentum. A quick team will aggressively attack the puck because the Pens are not moving the puck quickly or getting into odd-man advantages in specific sections of the ice.

Man, we sound too much like Flyers fans right now, but that was crap.

On both sides I guess.

But Malkin or Max would've scored if it werent' for that whistle.

I have faith that the Pens would have just shot wide of the net. It wasn't their night.

Pens stopped playing when they went up 3-2. Not sure why Therrien split up Malkin and Crosby when it looked like they were on fire again in the 2nd.
