Don't know who we'd be sending the other way, but he's the kind of player you'd like to have on your team.

Fedotenko. And we throw in Gill for a good measure, if they give us a depth d-man.

That'd be awesome, but I don't really see them making that trade.

Haha, Camalleri's too soft for them? Small wonder they didn't re-sign Huselius :D

Nah, just wait until the summer and sign him to repalce Satan on the top line and move Kennedy up on the RW with Crosby.

To be honest with you, I still don't understand why people continue to bring up players' names that could be brought into Pittsburgh.

I realize this is a messageboard and it's open for discussions, but the penguins are 14-6-3, sitting in the #4 spot in the Eastern Conference. There is absolutely no need to change the team.

As of now, I totally agree, but if the Pens take this convo to a seven game series against SJ or DET, some things might need to have been shaken up.

I don't think so. We may see some minor signature Ray Shero moves, but nothing even close to this big. I think we are a completely different team now then when we played SJ. I'm not saying we are definitely going to beat them, but we will be competitive enough to hang with em and possibly outlast them. We proved we can beat Detroit already. Though, it was close.

Basically, I don't think anything big has to take place for this team to win the Cup. We have a very solid team as it is. And we are going to have the best trade deadline acquisition in the name of Sergei Gonchar. So, I would be surprised if mastermind Ray Shero shakes much up. He may move a dman, but that may be about it.

I love how the people who always say NPR claim that other people are trying to be the board police.

Cammy is a UFA after this year. I am sure Shero will be putting a view calls into Sutter if he is available...

Oh no, I don't mean that we need a big trade. Nothing close to Gaborik or Hossa last year.

I think we're going to need a winger who can skate and score though, maybe Afinogenov or Cole.

Someone who could be had with a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

You mean that's "LUCICris"! I agree.

I would LOVE to have Cammalleri on this team. He's a great scorer who led the Kings for the past 2 years. He's had a slow start in Calgary, but they had him buried on the 3rd line for a while I believe. He's a top 6 wing and now that they moved him there, he's scoring again. He'd be a great left wing for Crosby -- MUCH better than Dupuis OR Talbot.

Goligoski and a low pick might fetch Lucic.

There is ALWAYS room for improvement. why should the team NOT investigate a possible deal if it would improve the team? Adding Cammalleri (for example) is adding another 70 points or more to the roster and probably another 5-10 wins. So, why not?

Cammy would be a nice player on the top 2 lines but the Pens would need to move some salary back and I'm not sure we have anyone Calgary would be interested in.

I think Sid and Cammy would be magic though...
