New members a plenty?

Postby slipshod on Fri Dec 05, 2008 3:35 pm

They just closed down the triblive boards and put this site up as an alternative on the main page. I'm hoping only the good ones make it over. Not many of them over there.

Remember: the foe feature is there for a reason. Don't be afraid to use it.

What does the foe feature do? Completely block that person's posts?

I am from the pghlive board and you will find most of the guys from there pretty good, but seriously in the end there were only about 10 regular posters you would see week to week. way back when you had 100s of posters they let the board get out of hand without moderating it closely. You had posters who would just insult and go off on anyone. After the finially cleaned it up everyone left. I

I used to post there all of the time but left the Pens forum when a certain poster (you know who) just got to be too much with his attempts to bully the board. I came here and I am largely ignored but there is usually quality information/thoughts to be found here.

I would go to that board during the lock out when Pens talk wasn't very frequent and it was hard to find it anywhere. After "he who shall not be named" got to be a giant jagoff I quit going. I've been a member here since I can remember and there is always a good hockey discussion to be had if you want one. Sometimes you just have to cut through all the crap. Although I post my fair share of clutter.
