Any Posters live in Wash, PA?

Postby offsides on Tue Dec 23, 2008 5:55 pm

Just wondering if there are any posters out there in Washington, PA ?

If so, do you watch any of the games at any local establishments ? :pop:

I'm in Washington, PA, but when I don't go to the games, I prefer the confines of the netwolf private semi-luxury box (home). 8-)

I do, but I usually just stick to hanging out at home to watch games. The bars in Washington just kinda depress me.

I will agree with the depressing part but, I do belong to a couple clubs with a "few" Pens fans that can be fun at times. In fact I'm putting on one of my jerseys and heading to one tonight.

I usually stay at home for the weekday games but usually join a couple buddies for the weekend ones. I live out in Gabby Heights, if you know where that is.

McGrogan's in Canonsburg is generally a pretty good place to watch games. Along with 12-14 taps, they've also got 4 coolers of good bottles. Also, while I haven't seen it this year, in previous years they've offered a $5 medium 1-topping pizza during Pens games.

I wouldn't know how far that is from your house, but I can get home from there during an intermission (I live in Chartiers Township, with a Washington address.)

That's funny. A moderator replied to this thread and had no problem with its location. :pop:

You must not get out much...I would rather be in Washington than Altoona (or anywhere in central PA).

Been living here 59 years and I think you could do a lot worse. Moderate climate, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, low crime rate and cheap beer in the clubs!! :pop:
