Martin St. Louis

Postby Billkamm on Wed Dec 24, 2008 12:23 am

My program guide tonight he is 5'9". I do not believe this. Anyone have a real height measurement for him?

There is no way he is 5'9". At one point during the game he was standing next to Talbot and Talbot looked significantly taller than him.

I'd say 5'5" or 5'6" on skates. It says 5'9" on the TB website too.

Bash that man, but hes an amazing two way player 4'0" or 6'0" ... I noticed how much he got back every play. Hes like a younger, much smaller version of a Hossa... IMO

I was rather impressed by Nathan Gerbe when Buffalo came to town. He's listed at 5'5" which is the smallest I can I know of a player being listed at. IIRC, Theo Fleury was listed as 5'6" and I believe Gionta and St. Louis are listed rather generously. I'm a shorter guy myself and I got my picture taken with Straka back when I was in junior high and I was as tall as he was.

I remember Pavel Bure being listed as 5' 10". From the videos I was watching this morning, he was barely over shoulder high to Geoff Courtnall who was listed as 6' 0".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsSzkiImAF4 = around 1:34 is where he's standing straight
