To paraphrase a great quote...

"Its nice to be nice... to the nice"

Merry Christmas Ginger. Glad to see you are still around, even if I don't get to see the flaming red anymore.

I got a new toy early. I can categorically say now without hesitation I have gotten freaked to the max.

I just got a brand spanking new Martin D-18. I am so blessed! Even carols are going to sound good on this...

LOL! Thanks Mike! Try to imagine. If I could, I would be back there swatting you out of my prickly bushes with the fly swatter. But alas, I'm left, like you, remembering those fun times. Who knows tho'...the way I move around, I may be back. :)

Oh, & it's good to be good...to be good!

Merry Christmas to everyone at LGP!

I'm so stoked because Santa has already been good to me right before Christmas. My wife gave me an early present: an frameworth authentic 8x10 autographed Evgeni Malkin photo in a matted frame (of the infamous slapshot on the breakaway from the playoffs last year).

This is going on my office wall at work. What is great is, a guy I work with is from Philly and a huge Cryers fan. Now he'll have to see Biron cringing while Geno unleashes the puck!

I'll never forget when Malkin did that. We were sitting there on that side of the ice (behind the net) and saw Malkin frustrated/exhausted earlier that shift. When he came back down on that breakaway, I remember him winding up and me saying "No, he's not going to do that! Holy $***!" Plus, on the after-game radio commentary, that shot being compared to Ivan Drago and "If he dies, he dies" referring to Malkin blasting that shot at Biron was just killing me.

It was definitely one of the most memorable moments I'll ever remember at the Igloo.

Thanks, Santa Claus :)

My 8-year old and I will never forget that goal either. I let out 3 of the same exclamatories that you did, each one rising in crescendo as I rose from my seat (E28), the last coming when the puck went in. I lifted my son above my head in celebration. Definitely one of my favorite moments.

The wife splurged and got me a white Malkin jersey this year, my first Pens jersey ever.

I got an Orpik 3rd jersey from my parents, and then my neighbors that I always babysit for gave me a Crosby 3rd jersey....needless to say, it was an EXCELLENT Christmas. I opened my present from my neighbors first and my parents were all "Well I'm glad we didn't get you that Orpik jersey" just to lead me on. Sure enough, the last present I opened was my Orpik jersey.
I begged for a jersey for a long time, then finally bought my own (a Staal one, back during his rookie season), and the only thing I asked for was the Orpik jersey, so I was pretty excited. And my friend got me a Malkin blue shirt, so it was a Penguins Christmas for me.
