That's a $2k worth of guitar right there.................

Congrats! :D

I got lucky last Christmas with a sweet Ibanez (electric though) I was eyeing for some time.

Yup, it is...it lists for about $2,599.00 but I got lucky. My 12 string Framus needed fixing & I took it to a guy in Nazareth PA who does really good work on guitars. He works for Martin but has a repair shop of his own on the side.

Anyway, we hit it off really well so he got the Martin D-18 for us at his price. This Martin is the first six string I've had...I've always played 12 string since I was a kid & don't think I could live without it. It got stored in Vegas & split right down the front, but now looks as good as new again thanks to Fred. If you ever need your guitar fixed, don't forget this name - Fred Castner! He's worked on Paul Simons guitar, Steve Miller, Roger McGuinn, Eric Clapton, the list goes on forever.
Here's my Framus after he fixed the split. You can hardly tell it was ever broken.

Anyway, wrong forum!
