Will anyone drop with Laraque?

Postby TheHammer24 on Fri Dec 26, 2008 5:03 pm

I think Godard most definitely will -- out of obligation and curiousity.

BUt with Jeffrey and Bizzy up too, will either of them try and make a name for themselves?

Looking forward to an upset in that department.

Only if Jeffrey is insane will he drop them with Laraque. The better question is...will Laraque drop with anyone?

I concur about Jeffrey. Bizzy has said he was willing to fight anyone and that included laraque, "although he would be scared to death to do it" Laraque and Godard have fought before -- Laraque won easily.

I definitely think BGL would fight the man that replaced him at any point in the game.

Good Luck Godard!!!!!!!!!

Maybe he is talking about the Calgary game last year, though that fight didn't really get going.

Tomorrow is so far in the future for this team. They need to focus on tonight's game first.

Every time Godard takes a penalty that leads to a goal, God kills a kitten.

Godard has no fear yet isn't the best fighter in the NHL, that's what makes him a great enforcer. He'll fight anyone and pretty much no one will back down from him unless they are a coward. He only goes after the other enforcer or a guy who just delivered a cheap shot. If he asks BGL to go or gets asked likewise they'll fight.

I'm going out on a limb here but I think Eaton will be the one to drop the gloves.

I plan to clap for BGL, personally, and I hope my fellow fans do the same.

Godard v. BGL.

He'd probably dislocate a shoulder, with his luck.

Laraque is likely going on IR with an groin injury, so he won't be fighting anyone.
Max Pacioretty and Kyle Chipchura were recalled. Chipchura will likely replace Ben Maxwell on the fourth line Saturday night while Pacioretty is insurance in case Andrei Kostitsyn can't go.

Saku Koivu is also out.

Lol, remember when Matt Murley did that. Wasn't that his last game in a Pens uni?

wait....what?

Cooke doesn't fight. He runs from confrontation. And I have no problem with it.
