Good, he definately deserves to be here for the time being. He plays the role of a 3rd liner perfectly.

Last nigiht's TOI
Bissonnette - 2:36
Godard - 3:39
Jeffrey - 6:38

I'm guessing one of these guys will be benched.

Why would they sit Godard and not Biz? If God is sat, then BGL definately wont drop the gloves with anyone. Which, might be MT's thinking...

The only way I see them sitting Godard in favor of Biz is if Godard is still having lingering effects after blocking that shot last night. We don't know for sure if Godard was okay or not, because we didn't see the 4th line out after that for the rest of the game.

I loved the Cooke - Staal - Wallace combo, just like I love Biz/Stone - Talbot - Godard 4th line.

Good for him. He made his presence felt, probably more so than any other call this season.

If were going to stink we might as well be tough.

Laraque isn't playing; he's hurt. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=31093&p=731610#p731610

I'm not that familiar with the rest of Montreal's roster, but if they don't have another heavyweight, that combined with Godard getting hurt blocking a shot last night leads me to think Wallace is likely taking Godard's spot in the lineup.

My roommate is a huge Habs fan, and, I assure, there is no other heavyweight on their roster. The Habs are probably soffer than us.

Why would you ever dress God against Laraque even if he was playing? The only explanation would be that you're putting a sideshow for the fans ahead of winning a game.

Godard took a pretty hard hit to the leg last night
wouldn't be surprised if he's day to day.

and it's not like Laraque's going to go after Crosby if Godard isn't there tonight anyways.

Who knows, maybe with 2 fast guys on that line in Wallace and Jeffrey they can establish a forecheck.

I love Wallace, but I don't know if the words 'fast' and 'wallace' belong in the same sentence, unless the word 'not' is present in there somewhere. True, he's quicker than Godard, but, really, who on the team isn't?

yeah that's what I meant
like he may be fast enough to get a forecheck going with Jeffrey
as opposed to Godard who's slow as molasses
