If you were coach/GM what would you do?

Postby KC_PENS_FAN on Tue Dec 30, 2008 10:55 pm

This team is beggining to upset. I can't watch these games when were playing like this and I don't think its just a slump. The easy thing to do would be to bring in a winger or two(and I agree)but I don't know if that will even fix the problems this team has. It seems to me that: our defense is slacking and were not helping out fluery enough. We can't make good passes and going with the bad passes is our bad decision making.

What would you do if it were your decision?

All I know is Shero can say all he wants about supporting MT...If this team is close to missing the playoffs by the deadline Mario will tell Shero what to do...

I wish we could fire RS instead of MT. MT is not the problem, RS's horrendous offseason is.

Not panic, considering we're not even at the halfway point of the season.

You should be fired.

Ray Shero has been one of the best GM's in the NHL and he'll continue to be. There's not much he can do right now.

I'd make a minor move now...I'd sign Shanahan. He brings a veteran presence, some much needed leadership to the team and a forward who can score some goals...

Just do it already...

I believe the Penguins were one of the teams Shanahan wanted to sign with in the off-season, but Shero didn't budge.

I wasn't too happy with the offseason though.
