Solid game for MAF. I was afraid of a 2-1 Ranger lead and a susequent implosion. A couple of highlight saves, but more importantly not making us play from behind after the early going.

The fight before the game was a bit weird let's hope each game doesn't start that way but over all a great great game by the whole team...

The AS break seems to have helped, couldn't have come at a better time and

seems as if the whole team is here and on the same page. More so then they had been.

Exactly the way they needed to start the second half. Once again, they look like the Pens of old. If they can find consistency, they will have no problem making the playoffs.

If tonight is any indication, keep Crosby and Malkin together. Someone said somewhere here that they have no chemistry... uh, what? Malkin's the only guy on the team that can keep up with Crosby and Crosby feeds off Malkin just fine. The key, as I've been saying, is Staal. His line produced two goals tonight. If they can get that secondary scoring, Sid and Geno should be together. I've been hard on Minard but I liked the way he played tonight. He needs to keep gunning it to the net.

MAF made the big saves he needed to make. It's no coincidence that the Pens are starting to win again now that they're getting better goaltending.

Crosby easily had his best game of the season. Aside from the amazing goal he was playing great two-way hockey and his passes were perfect. Lundqvist had a really good game and we still put 6 up on him.

Even Satan had a very good game.

Nah. Sid had a couple of turnovers early on. But he woke up and that what counts.

Yes. It was more at the very start with the drop of the first puck but it hadn't even hit the ice when the two started so to me is was before the game even started even though technically it had. It's not like you see that happen very often, usually there's about 20 or 30 secs. before anything happens.

I like Minard. He shines when the big guys suck. He kind of fades away when they get to shine.
But, he actually was the one to get the credit for the first two goals. He caused the things to turn
and that allowed the big guys to rip Hank the Sieve apart later. The guy needs to stay with the big club.
