AO 314

You know what i find really funny about the AO debate when people say he is the best goal scorer in the NHL, he takes more shots then anyone else!!!! here is the proof (top 5 in goals)

AO- 31 G (314 shots)
Jeff Carter - 30 G (204 Shots)
Thomas Vanek 29 G (155 Shots)
Zach Parise 28 G (197 Shots)
Patrcik Marleau - 26 G (164 Shots)

He has taken 110 More shots then Carter and 159 more shots then Vanek!!!

AO has a very quick release and his shots are bullets. You rarely see goaltenders able to to control his shots without a rebound, so it's in his linemates best interest too for AO to fire, fire, fire the puck. You got a great shot, when the goalie stops it there is usually a decent rebound available.....you ought to be shooting non-stop!

There has to be something then that makes his shots easy to stop. If his shot was that darn good, he wouldn't be clicking at UNDER 10% while Carter is right under 15% and Vanek is over 18%. With the same number of shots, Carter would have about 46 goals and Vanek would have about 57. Yea lets not get too carried away by his shot.
