Boucher and Brooks will be a pairing to watch.

I'm guessing Therrien is going to try to keep Orpik's minutes lower by putting him on the third pairing, which is smart considering the circumstances. I also wouldn't be surprised if his PK minutes are low or non-existent. Then again, with Therrien who knows how long that will last - I thought he would keep Whitney's minutes down when he first came back & I was definitely wrong there.

From the story link, it's nice to see that Gonchar is traveling with the team. :)

Eaton's been fine recently. Hopefully he continues to get back to level he was once at.

Agreed. I've been tough on Eaton this season - if only because I know how he's capable of playing - but he's been much better lately. I think he and Letang have been pretty solid together.

According to Pens sit, these are tonights pairings. Eaton plays.

"Orpik will replace Hal Gill on the blue line. The defensive pairings at Friday's morning skate were: Rob Scuderi-Ryan Whitney; Mark Eaton-Kris Letang; Brooks Orpik-Philippe Boucher."

Glad to see Orpik back, also glad to see that Gonchar is going on the road trip with them for the first time this year. A sign that he's another step closer to returning. I hope Gill gets it together by the playoffs because he can be a very valuable defenseman for this team as he was in the playoffs last year if he's on his game.
