Love the back-to-back games with Detroit being so banged up. Makes a split more likely, and a split makes the series a 5-game affair with Pittsburgh having home-ice advantage.

The 5 PM was supposed to be for game six on the original schedule. I doubt they'd do it for game two since it's a back-to-back. Originally, game five was a Friday and game six was a Sunday.

ah that was it. but if game two were an 8pm start why would they put TBD? is there an nba playoff game they don't want to clash with?

It's actually a lot worse than that for Detroit. From a scheduling standpoint, they have a tough road ahead, especially being banged up. Consecutive nights to start the series, then a 3rd in 4 nights back in Pittsburgh. Game 3 would also be their 4th game in 6 days, including tonight. Game 4 would put them at 5 in 8. If the Pens jump on them quick, right from the start, they have the opportunity to bury them in 5 or 6. If the Crosby led Pens have learned the killer instinct, which we lacked against Philly and the Caps, this sries could actually be shorter than any one thinks. Just an opinion.

Tough schedule on Detroit. Would rather it wasn't like this because:

1) I want the Pens to play - and hopefully defeat - every team when they are at their best and healthiest. No doubting who was better;

2) This will provide a protein-rich energy drink to the pro-Penguin conspiracy foil-hatters.

Who deleted my "Praised be Allah" comment? I would like to hear the rationale for that. For now, I'll assume someone at LGP is racist. And I say that because the phrase "Thank God" is used all the time on here.

Tough call.

I'm going on a Stag Weekend tomorrow and won't be home until Sunday evening.

I can obviously record Game #1 and watch it when I get home - but can I squeeze it in before Game #2 on Sunday night and what state will I be in having drunk for 3 days solid?!!

I'm excited it is starting this weekend. I'm already anxious and nervous, so the quicker this starts, the better for my health.
