This season seemingly started ages ago. With everything that has happened with the Pens this season, it all comes down to one game. ONE game. The final game of the NHL season. All of it is on the line tonight. One shot, one goal, one pass, one bounce, one save. That's what the season and history can come down to. Amazing. There is nothing else like it in this world and I love it.

I wanted to note that a week before HCDB got hired and we went on our roll, my wife and I found out that we were pregnant with our first child. I'd say the growing baby has been mega JuJu for the Pens. The due date is October 15th, almost around season opener time (and banner raising time!) Thank you hockey gods for delivering us this baby. I promise it will be a Pens fan from birth. It is destiny

Well, I'm in NJ and part time in NYC, and most of my hockey friends keep watching. It's probably 50/50. Most of my friends here are Rangers/Devils fans and some are for the Wings and some just want an Eastern team to win so they're for us. Actually, I see more Ranger friends be on our side than the Devil ones. Whatever.

Congratulation!! We adopted our first last September, and she has watched nearly every game this year. I'm trying to convince my wife that she needs to stay up tonight, as this may well be the biggest Penguins game in her life. Not that a 9 month old would understand ...

The Philly area fans are not too found of the Pens so the Red Wings are quite popular around here. I've found a lot of people are still watching it and are very engaged but mostly because they are Anti-Pens, not that they are just because they love the game of hockey.
