2009-2010 Official Game Thread Standings

Pens fans, it's that time of year again!

A new season, a new era of Pens hockey. This season, our beloved Penguins are the defending Stanley Cup Champs.

We had a heck of a crew down the stretch last season, and into the playoffs. A big thanks to everyone!

If you'd like to take a gdt, please call for it here. Do not call for a game, until the previous one is over. Continued starts will be up to the discretion of the gdt/co mgr.

We rock the juju in the gdts. Please keep critical posts constructive. And, always, mind your gdt starter!

Please keep all game related posts, during the games, in the official gdt.

The title should include name of opponent, date, and official gdt.

The gdt should go up no more than 1 hour before game time, and no less than 1 second before.


I have appointed our ROY from last season, maudineormsby, as co-gdt mgr.

Unfortunately, AT&T delayed installation of my internet yet again. I won't have the webs at home til at least Sunday night.

However, a happy update: Google Apps opened the platform to applications written in javascript. So, I'll be writing a GDT app that will not only handle standings, but let you claim a game once it's open and show who has the games, w-l-otl, steaks, points, etc.

Look for it in the coming weeks. Til then I'll manually update the spreadsheet, starting NEXT week.
