Can't break tradition now, twice a year there are some painful mornings, just so happens 2 of them will be Wednesday and Friday this week.

Lamentably, I'll be asleep in the chair before faceoff, and will probably wake up around the 2nd period some time. Not good.

i usually go to bed around midnight as it is.

I love watching late night hockey, in a lot of ways I wish I still had Center Ice so I could watch all the west coast teams play while falling asleep.

DVR!!!!!!! I'll watch it when I get home from work the following day. I'll just resist the urge to check the hockey websites for a day.

I plan on staying up for it all, this is the one thing I hate about having a real job, I miss college when I could stay up for this no problem.

Once the game starts though I shouldn't have any problem, I don't think I could just fall asleep during the game, but I might try if it's a blowout one way or the other. I'll be bored as hell trying to figure out what to do till 10 though.

If you get Versus, the Bruins are playing the Red Wings. Maybe that will help pass the time. :pop:

I plan on staying up for the games this week. Although I said that last year and crashed during the 2nd period. Im taking a different approach this year though. Go home, eat dinner, do some cleaning, laundry, etc then start drinking about 9. Last year, I came home and sat on the couch waiting for the games to start, and that just made me more tired.

Puck drops at 4am here. I'll watch if I manage to get some sleep before. I doubt it, though.

I am not a night owl, but I always stay up for these games. Going to try to take a nap when I get home from class, then I'm going to down some Mountain Dew so I'll be awake for the games. Of course I have my early classes on Wednesdays and Fridays...it's going to be a fun week.

Hell, I was waking up around 10 at night just to start going out when I was in college.

My normal day was like from 9pm until 6am.

Considering the game starts 5am here in Finland, it's more like waking up early than going to sleep late :) I think I'll pass, and catch the rerun tomorrow...

Damn I miss living in the Canadian west coast where Penguins games usually start at 4pm, perfect time to watch hockey.

11pm start here... I might make it through halfway through the first.

If it were a weekend I would force myself to stay up.

oh yeah for sure, a 10 pm Pens game would just be a perfect start to the night, now I dread having to stay up that late. What a difference 2 years and a job makes
