Considering this was a 40 day investigation per the ABC 6 story it is highly unlikely any of this activity took place prior to 2005, so it is highly unlikely that any of the involved bettors would be in a position to have evaded taxation on any winnings they accumulated.

2005 federal/state taxes aren't due until 4/15/06. I guess it is possible there could be quarterly local taxes due or possibly estimated quarterly federal taxes due, but given the fact nobody needs to have filed an actual 2005 tax return yet it is unlikely there was any evasion involved.

Looks like Modano, Roenick, Jagr and Tkachuk have been linked to this....
and I was wrong, no Shanahan. Only someone expecting him to be linked.

Any word on the owner involved?
