KDKA just aired the Randell interveiw at the Steeler ralley

Postby NIN on Wed Feb 08, 2006 12:27 am

LOL Just beautiful. He remained composed but when he had to raise his voice because it was being drowned out by chants of MARIO and NEW ARENA I had to laugh. Also I dont know who that guy is that conducted the interveiw but he had a rather coy look on his face as Randell spoke. As if to say, "you know you messed up right, you know how you messed up right?"

Yeah. I'm pretty sure Flounder is indeed responsible for the connection speed. As is Rick Tabaracci in some way I'll bet.

If you watch it once all the way through then start it again so your computer isn't trying to stream it, the video and audio are all smooth as a Superbowl losing quarterback's head.

I do what I can. Actually, I blame most of this season on Tabbs as well. His performance and not making the 'big save' was a bad omen for 15 years later.

That raises an interesting topic that I think I will post on a new thread right now........

Huh... interesting how Rendell talks about how things like this are good for the city and state because they bring attention. Attention to the NEW Pittsburgh.

I'm thinking it would look even better w/ a new arena and all that redevelopment promised in the IOC/Pens plan.

john steigerwald all over Rendell hearing the chants!

Postby penny lane on Wed Feb 08, 2006 9:54 am

Last night JS played that during the 1030 pm sports show. Slick ED
knows how to turn a deaf ear BUT most of those voices can vote.

Again proud of those who knew how to seize the moment...Pittsburghers' on occasion are smarter than we look! :P

That was awesome. Rendell played the part of the politician by turning a deaf ear to the chanting. Deep down inside you just know he was fuming mad. What a bum he is. Just looking at the man, makes me immediately angry.

You're not the only one. I think he's the worst, he doesn't give a you-know-what about Pittsburgh, all he cares about is Philadelphia. Every time I see him, it makes me sick. It also makes me mad, because I will be four months too young to vote him out of office. I turn 18 less than 4 months after the election, and I'd just love to vote for Lynn Swann. I hate Rendell more than just about anybody.

Well, you have parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles. Get them to vote for Swann.
