I have the Lemieux one... I see it everywhere.
I'm not a "leave it in the box" kind of person, but many are. They're yours, do what you want with them!

Those are fairly common, but considering they retail for $10-12 each, getting both for $10 is a pretty good deal. I have those two opened up and side by side (next to a
custom Kovalev figure I made) on display in front of my TV.
There is a chase version of the Lemieux in a white jersey that's a little harder to come by; I think it goes for $25-30. There's also a super chase in the yellow jersey, limited to 100 pieces. They originally were going for well over $1000, but the last one I saw went for only $565.
I'm an opener, but like lowedog said, they're yours; enjoy them however you want.

The Lemieux one is the legends series 8, the newest ones. The also make a chase white and very rare (100 total) yellow. The crosby is from series 21, a couple years old. Honestly, they aren't real hard to come by but $10 for the pair? Great deal.
I am a "leave them in the box" kind of guy, but I also have every Pittsburgh one made except for Bettis white jersey and Lemieux yellow jersey - about 60 or so.

That's pretty cool. Have you ever considered buying two of each upon release, so that you can keep one sealed, and open one for display?

I have one of Double-J from the first iteration of the figurines where they weren't licensed...Jags has the NHLPA logo on his chest in place of the Pens logo.

I have all the ones they've released of Jagr, Crosby, and Ovechkin. Keep them in the packaging because my 3 year old nephew wants to play with them and I'd rather he not ruin them and lose/choke on things like the sticks with his year old sister like he does to his own toys.
Hopefully when I'm elderly they'll be worth something, but until then they'll look nice in a man-cave.

That's actually a good price for the 12" figures. They generally sell for $29.99 when they are released.

I'll remember that. The last time I saw one listed, it was starting at $20 in the box with free shipping. I ended up missing it (forgot to put it on the watch list), and it ended up with 0 bidders.

That's down from $800-$900 when they were first floating around.

There is a guy who customized the entire 2009 Pens team. He had pics on spawn dot com in the forums section. They were ppretty awesome! All that is there now is a Fleury figure making a save. Just google Kunitz mcfarlane if you want to check it out.

Does anyone have a MAF Mcfarlane that they'd be willing to part with?
