Totally satisfied with this effort tonight.

With these injuries you gotta love what just took place.

I think Dan gets a boner every time Pascal says his name.

23 seconds. Might as well go with 11 forwards. :pop:

I wanted three, but getting two points from last night and today is more than reasonable.

This was a really impressive victory. They were without their top two forwards, their top two defensemen, their starting goalie, a couple more forwards, plus they played a good bit of the game with only five defensemen, and they convincingly beat a pretty decent team on the road. 4-2-2 under these circumstances is a really good start to the season.

The Park signing is looking pretty clutch.
I won't claim to be a prospect/WBS follower, but there's a reason why vets like him stick.

I was at the game. The hats were a free giveaway from Gander Mountain for the first 10,000 fans.... has a minnesota wild logo on it, it's not a bad hat for a free giveaway. Lots of penguin fans in attendance, I saw many pens jerseys including my own... it seems quite a few people here in MN admire the penguins, so you can quit knocking the fans. Although I was kind of irritated too when they were booing Johnson when he got hurt, guess they thought he was faking for a whistle- that was B.S. - but there are a lot of dumb penguins fans too, you know. Anyways I had fun at the game, and it was nice to talk to some other displaced pittsburghers like me.

I have no idea why anyone would want to live in that part of the world. Then again, maybe to score one of those sweet hats!

ZM and PM logged nearly 30 mins of icetime tonight. Did a damn fine job all things considered. Hopefully they get back on track with this performance.

Yeah misplaced is probably a better word... wife is from here so here I am, but I ask myself the same question about why people live here... I don't mind the snow, but it gets damn cold.
