games like this are unacceptable. his job isn't to score or to hit. that's fine. but don't be brain dead. he's being paid for composure and smarts. he should never be as bad as he's been in a couple games this year.

and by again you mean the last time when the replay clearly showed it go into the bench?

If the puck goes over the high glass and in to the bench it is considered delay of game. At least thats where I think the O.P. was going with.

I don't think that is the case, which is what I thought Errey was saying:

When any player, while in his defending zone, shoots or bats (using his hand or his stick) the puck directly (non-deflected) out of the playing surface, except where there is no glass, a penalty shall be assessed for delaying the game. When the puck is shot into the players’ bench, the penalty will not apply. When the puck is shot over the glass ‘behind’ the players’ bench, the penalty will be assessed.

Could be a little vague in there I guess, though
