Down a goal, he's pinching it the right play. No forward even came close to covering, letang decided to play over agressive instead of giving up a 2 on 1 he just gave them the break away....

Then johnson just ehh.

Martin was visibly off the mark on three out of the five Canes goals tonight. The first one was especially atrocious

Honestly - how can you blame Martin on that? Really? He pinched, it's 3 min left and you need your D to be aggressive, Letang should have shifted over and he didn't. I blame Letang as he was standing right next to Staal at the right point.

Same play by Letang on Eric Staal's whistle goal. But Martins has been bad tonight.

Martin stinks right now. Johnson hasn't had his best game either. Can't win em all. Regroup for Tuesday.

I don't blame Martin on the last goal either. Pens d-men pinch quite frequently, and normally someone shifts over to cover. It didn't happen that time, but that's not on Martin.

Pens made some really bad plays and Johnson didn't play well at all but even with all that going on the reason Carolina won was Ward.

I get mad that Letang never shoots....but then he reminds me why I should be "OK with it" as he misses the net on 3 consecutive attempts.
