Pens made some really bad plays and Johnson didn't play well at all but even with all that going on the reason Carolina won was Ward.

Yeah. Ward > Johnson, and that's more or less what tonight came down to.

I don't blame Martin for pinching in...I blame him for the horrible play he made when he pinched in....he pushed the puck right to a hurricane and off they were running...but yes you would hope a forward would have been heading back to cover Martin's point.

Well, without Martin and Brent Johnson, they would've completed the comeback, with players who give a damn.

I don't care what anyone says, Johnson let in 3 or 4 weak goals and I don't even need to comment on Paul Martin, whom I think was more so a product of system in New Jersey.

Carolina how much I loathe thee. No matter how bad they are playing at the time they ALWAYS have their "A" game ready against the Pens and not to mention I hate the look of Chad Larose and wish someone would punch him in the face and nevermind the fact that when I can actually cheer for Carolina against someone like Washington. Carolina lays down like a bunch of scared punks.

honestly a game like tonight doesnt matter. Pens need to beat the Chicago, San Jose, Washington, Philly, Wings of the NHL. The Canes are a team the Pens would dominate in the playoffs. Pens need to beat the tops teams to be considered the Leaders of the pack

If Staal was back, I didn't see him, looked like Letang was the only guy back

good comeback, was looking like they would maybe get a road point out of it at the very least. not putting it totally on BJ, but he's been in net for 4 of the 7 losses this season (only 5 game played). can't overload MAF, but he needs to play back to back every once in while methinks.
