Nice comeback, pens did so many things right all game. I'm not worried about this one.

That quick whistle took a goal away from Carolina earlier in the game.

So every time the pens lose we're going to complain as if we are a terrible squad?

Seriously, it's one game and we have the best record in hockey. You're going to lose a few here and there. Sheesh.

Yeah. Ward > Johnson, and that's more or less what tonight came down to.

I don't blame Martin for pinching in...I blame him for the horrible play he made when he pinched in....he pushed the puck right to a hurricane and off they were running...but yes you would hope a forward would have been heading back to cover Martin's point.

Well, without Martin and Brent Johnson, they would've completed the comeback, with players who give a damn.

I don't care what anyone says, Johnson let in 3 or 4 weak goals and I don't even need to comment on Paul Martin, whom I think was more so a product of system in New Jersey.

Carolina how much I loathe thee. No matter how bad they are playing at the time they ALWAYS have their "A" game ready against the Pens and not to mention I hate the look of Chad Larose and wish someone would punch him in the face and nevermind the fact that when I can actually cheer for Carolina against someone like Washington. Carolina lays down like a bunch of scared punks.

They aren't trading Paul Martin. He's a good dman despite his +/- this season.

honestly a game like tonight doesnt matter. Pens need to beat the Chicago, San Jose, Washington, Philly, Wings of the NHL. The Canes are a team the Pens would dominate in the playoffs. Pens need to beat the tops teams to be considered the Leaders of the pack

Letang was to cover Martin's spot. Staal had shifted over and covered the right point, Letang was right next to him for some reason

If Staal was back, I didn't see him, looked like Letang was the only guy back

Focus now turns to Sullivan. Our top line and PP have been solid; need him back Tuesday.

Can't believe the run of injuries here. As soon as somebody is ready to come back, another guy goes down.

Picard is better than Bortuzzo/Despres? I'm kind of surprised he is still here.

I agree, he isn't going anywhere. This forum just likes to go into :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: mode on atleast on player throughout the season

good comeback, was looking like they would maybe get a road point out of it at the very least. not putting it totally on BJ, but he's been in net for 4 of the 7 losses this season (only 5 game played). can't overload MAF, but he needs to play back to back every once in while methinks.
