I say stay to the end. If the drive home bothers you that much that you want to leave with 10 minutes to go in the 3rd, sell your tix.

I know that's harsh, but I hate it when people leave early.

Don't see why anyone cares what other people do.

People pay their money they can leave whenever they want.

I could say it in Chinese if you wish. I just like an arena full of fans.

I guarantee you that if this was a playoff game and it was 1-1 people would be fired up over others leaving early. I honestly think it makes our fan base look bad every now and then.

But nobody would leave a 1-1 playoff game. This is a 6-3 game in November. A bit different.

People do leave in 1-1 playoff games. It happens all of the time. Maybe not as dramatic as was seen tonight, but it happens more in Pittsburgh than in other major hockey markets I would say.

I don't think so. Looking quickly, the only two times they've given up more than 3 were the 4-3 loss to Toronto and 5-3 loss to Carolina - BJ was in net for both.

Of course it happens in other markets... it's just tough to tell in markets like Dallas where they drawn 6000 fans to some of their games this year.

Yeah, the "woooos" were a DIRECT reason for some people around me leaving with around 5 minutes to go with the game in hand. It's so ******* annoying, it was actually torture staying to the end of the game and not leaving early.

I hope every game I go to for the rest of the year the Pens trail the whole time then tie it up and win in OT so I don't have to hear that crap.

With about 5 minutes left at the game tonight, I turned to my brother and said: "The posters on LPG are going to be having a fit right now. Half of the crowd just left, and the ones who are left are all yelling 'woo.'" I get home and open the game thread, and--boom--confirmation.

there are a bunch of people that leave with 5 minutes or so left and stand in the concourse to watch. i started watching specific people to see what they did and noticed this was the case the majority of the time.

Though I wasn't able to stay up for this one, it's heartening that the Pens could come from behind in the 3rd like this and almost pull it off against Carolina, it sounds like their killer instinct is on its way back. I don't recall the Pens doing this hardly at all for a while there, it's nice to have some more hope going into the 3rd once again!

That "hardly at all" was known as the entire 2010-2011 season. So, yeah, it's nice to see again.
