and given the skill both teams have - it's the reason I hate it. If I wanted to see people fall down every 5 seconds and nobody stickhandling I'd go watch the midgets at my local rink for free.

watching this game leads me to the following conclusion:
if the league wants to get rid of the trap, MAKE THE REFS ENFORCE HOLDING AND INTERFERENCE!

if a team holds on every play, call the hold on every play. kinda hard to slow the game to a crawl with only 4 skaters out there half the game
