Could have a lot to do with St. Louis' bruising ways. Maybe Shero wants a capable fighter out there should Backes or others get out of hand (which seems to be quite frequently. With Asham out of the lineup, the Penguins aren't exactly the toughest of teams.

Having MacIntyre in the lineup against TB doesn't prevent Lecavalier punching Malkin, Subban slew footing Kunitz, or Ovechkin charging Michalek. Am I missing something?

Stupid move. He serves zero purpose on this team. Way to jeopardize a good winning streak by effectively dressing 11 forwards. When the defense is healthy Engellend can afford to spend time in the box for fighting AND he can be out there behind Malkin without sacrificing production.

Is Ryan Craig injured? Rather have him fighting or give Veilleux a shot. Both are infinitely wiser choices than Mac.

Jesus people you get to worked up over this. He might not even play. Its better to have a guy like this eating nachos if he is not playing then a prospect who benefits more from playing in WilkesBarre

ALSO. Even if he does play, he gets maybe 2 mins, because mostly likely you will see Malkin getting double shifted with the other 4th line wingers.
