Awesome move by Getzlaf and Perry there. Seriously.

They stopped and signed for fans as they were leaving the ice. I love seeing that.

So was the trip and the slash 1 minute earlier, where's that call?

Clearly the refs hate the Pens and want them to lose.

That loss was not on the refs. Weak game from a well rested team.

pretty evenly played game. Ducks got two goals from two dead tired players one of which definitely should have gone to the bench and instead ended up getting a lucky goal. It happens I guess.

On the bright side the Ducks are two points closer to not trading Selanne to the other teams in the Atlantic.

Gotta feel for Fleury in this one. Makes some great, highlight reel saves....then lets two in he knows he should have had--and the first one at the end of the second period was a huge goal, and was complete garbage. Tough one to swallow getting the first goal on home ice.

Adams, Jeffrey, O'Reilly, Park, Vitale, Sullivan...as individuals I don't mind them, but these guys all playing with each other at even strength is a lot of dead weight. Sid and Asham returning will help push O'Reilly and Park/Jeffrey to the press box. Still, I'll take a Gaustad and a Moen before I even think about looking for an expensive scoring winger.

I think its clear what this game proved.

Malkin sucks.

Trade him to the Kings for Rick Nash.

Aside from the Rangers, you'd be correct. The Pens are playing well, too, though.

Yeah, it was at 1:39, but the play itself took no more than like 6 seconds.

I think this shows the Pens are Malkin and very little else. But if Crosby is in the mix they are Crosby/Malkin/Staal...Neal/Letang/Orpik.....a great supporting cast and of course Flower backing them up. It just seems that without Sid, everybody feeds off Geno, and its the trickle down effect. but if Sids there, everything and everyone falls into place. And its the perfect recipe.

Selanne said he didn't think the slash on Kunitz was a very good call late in the game.

Sid will push Staal to line 3, which will push O'Reilly out.

TK comes back in 6 weeks but he's not much better than the guys in my list above really.

Anybody else thinking this is the type of game we really could have used some secondary or so scoring like Crosby?
