Not only that... he was very committed to his education.

Ben Lovejoy was offered an NHL contract by Montreal during his third year of college. Lovejoy turned down the offer so that he could finish school and grow more as a player. Undrafted, Lovejoy played one year for Boston College and three years for Dartmouth College of the NCAA. Lovejoy also played lacrosse at Dartmouth, earning All-Ivy honors in 2006. He graduated from Dartmouth with the class of 2007.

No, I'm not friends with Lovejoy. One of Lovejoy's friends from home was a good friend of mine from college. He basically just put the stuff up and did the backgrounds and stuff

Wow Letestu sounded like he had a little bit of resentment toward the Pens for trading him in the FS Ohio interview

I'd be pissed too, if I were traded to Columbus.

Especially considering they kept DJ ahead of him.

I'd have kept Jeffrey instead of him. Maybe Letestu should be somewhat grateful to the Pens for his pro career. As far as the Bluejackets; how many other teams is he he a #2 center for?

lovejoy always looks like he's extremely happy and gracious to get to play in the nhl. it's too bad i don't care much for lovejoy the player, because i really like what i've seen of lovejoy the person.

He is what he is - an NHL/AHL tweener. Perhaps the best thing about him is that he seems to have no issue with being regularly scratched as the #7 defenseman.
