Going into tonight...

Postby Shinoix on Sat Feb 11, 2006 6:28 pm

There is no excuse for this team not to come into tonight with a boatload of confidence...they just knocked off the top team last night, and it wasn't by fluke. They played well enough to win, did the little things right, and got some bounces.

Now they face Washington who they've played very well against this season. If they come out flat, lethargic, lazy, and uninterested it would be an absolute joke.

No excuses tonight, they should be flying once again!!!

It is possible that they could start out over-confident and then give up a bad goal and get caught in the quick sand. It happens to young teams oh so easily. If Therrian is the motivater we all hope he is they should start out aggressive and not let up. The Capitals are severely banged up and the Pens own them.

This team has a long way to go before it is confident in any situation.
