Great win, I will say this game was probably closer than the score indicated. Rinne let in a crappy one to start the game and the Preds whiffed on a bunch of chances. Pens are just dominating right now though. Just sit back and enjoy and hope it doesn't end.

Much closer game than the score indicated. There seemed to be some Angels in the Outfield Pen's crease tonight making Nash whiff. Nashville had impressive O-zone time against the Pens. Good cycling team. Probably the most zone time a team has had against the Pens in a while, at least it seemed that way to me.

and yet the pens still won 5-1. pretty damn impressive.

Yeah, I thought Nashville played a really good game. They had the Pens running around their zone a few times. They also had a lot of fight in them, battled hard the whole game and didn't let up until maybe the last 5-10 minutes. I think Nashville, the Blues, or Detroit would make for a tough playoff series out of the west. Philly and Boston seem to be the top eastern competitors to us. I can't wait for the friggin playoffs to start.

The confidence the Pens have now is just otherworldly and overpowering other teams.

Last season full marks to the pens who played tight games, but this, this, is a flexing of all of their talents and skills. YOu cannot hit pause until the play-offs begin, you watch & marvel! I expect Coach Dan to be tweaking and watching everybody's going full out.

I thought P Martin, defense as a whole, had a strong game.

Man, i was so ready for a great game last night, one of the best in the east, vs one of the best vs the west. In my mind befor the game i was building it up as a playoff type feel, just a little disapointed we walked all over them. Well maybe disapointed is a little strong, i loved it. Just i thought it was going to be more of a game.
