because had it counted from the time it was scored, that penalty in theory would not have occured.

Because the game is taken back to where the game should have stopped on the goal. I believe a major would have still been enforced.

all i have to say about what just happened. the flyers don't like a dose of their own medicine. they pull this s*** all the time. like a bully who gets beat up in the schoolyard. having said all that, they deserved to win today.
