Yeah that was retarded. Turned out to be a decent fight however. Lets hope Whit drops them with Ovechkin!

Think the referees are trying to regain control of the game by calling everything?

somebody start the watch... could be the longest game in regulation in history...
could get ugly when MT is throwing cairns out as a winger he wants some blood... i personally like the little fire in the pens...

do you think they are trying to get the record for most penalties in one game or something?? this is getting a little rediculous....

Me too. This is an example of how the new schedule format helps make the games more interesting. Well, that and a Whitney stick to Ovenchicken's nuggets the last game.

Beleive it or not this IS what the league wants to see. Intense rivalries. I beleive that will lower the goals but make the games seem more important.

Excellent shift by Koltsov. That's an example of why he can be an effective role player even if he never develops any semblance of a shot.

If that translates into "Woo hoo Crosby scores!" then I agree.

That translates into someone who was sitting on his back porch smoking something that is illegal in America, but legal in Canada.

I'm confused guys...that actually looked like a POWER PLAY!
Help me out here, did they actually move and create chances and have puck possession?
Nice to see!!

Daniel, it's not Legal in Canada!
I might be looked at as less, but it's not legal!
There's talk of it being decriminalized, but not legalized!

first period observations....
never go to tgif fridays at 4 when a pens game comes on at 7 it takes waaaaaaaay to long
fleury should have number 1 star by now... has kept the boys a float...
all the big guns back in the line up tonight... good to see... also as somebody else mentioned gonchar sat out last night to make sure he was playing in this one... so far he is proving why... he wants to beat this team everytime we play them... somehow we need to brain wash gonchar so that he believes this is who we play every night!
john leclair performs again... he has a nack to the goal... would hate to see him go at the deadline... but odds are he will go..
fight prediction for the rest of the game...
cairns will go after somebody... colby gets into one... and ovesuckin will try to act tough against somebody other than rex...
talk amongst yaselfs
