Not going to root for anyone. Once the Pens are eliminated, I'm not going to watch any hockey until October.

do people seriously think that the Penguins aren't going to do the BS they did in the last minutes of this game? seriously? i could have guaranteed you they would. people are surprised by this?

its the playoffs. the players are so frustrated right now that they clearly can't beat the flyers on the ice they want to beat them any way they can.

That'll be about it...

The Pens blow 2 multiple-goal leads at home, then try their best goon tactics (actually, pretty pathetic...NO Flyer injured) in game 3, game 4 go without a whimper.

Time for radical offseason changes...

I didn't see that. I had the game recorded because I was traveling and fast forward from the Jagr one handed assist until the big brawl.

I am curious to see what the rosters will look like on Wednesday.

The pens have not been able to keep any momentum this series. The Flyers just seem to keep answering anytime there is a swing to the pens side. Hate to say it but they have outplayed the pens in just about every phase of the game. The pens cant keep giving up short handed goals and squander the momentum and expect to win.

Yes, and I would hire an ice-dancing coach. And skate figure-eights between the blue lines. And shout "Bravo!" every time the Flyers smoke another one past Fleury. And hammer our swords into plowshares. And turn the other cheek. For by doing so we will prove our moral superiority.

This has been such a complete dismantlement, that I can't see Shero not making major changes this off-season. I've taken to saying that this should be looked at as the Eastern Conference Finals, since these are the two best teams in the East; but Philly has so thoroughly and utterly dominated this series, unlike any I've seen that I can remember at the moment, that even if it were true that this were the ECF, Shero MUST re-evaluate this team. This isn't a tweak situation.

Yes, I know I've played the role of voice of reason so far, but I'm facing facts - I won't say it's over because it's not over until the final buzzer, but the fat lady she's a warmin' up... it sucks, but down 0-3 and being totally dominated in this last game... it'll take a herculean effort that I just don't see on the horizon. Hopefully it's there, but I'm not seeing it... :(

Sickening.

no it's because this team has no heart (like it's coach)....so series over

We have a better chance of waking up tomorrow morning and seeing an Independence-Day style mothership over the world's major population centers than we do of seeing this team come back.

So does anyone feel differently and now agrees that the pens should have targeted max and taken him out of this series? Lol

This is far more embarrasing than the dark years. What a train wreck this team is. No leadership, no accountability, no heart, no composure. Where are the guys that went to the Cup Final? It looks like the Pens have never been in the playoffs before and the Flyers are the playoff veterans. This is the most unreal thing I have ever seen as a Penguin fan dating back to the early to mid 90's.

Penny, I can't listen to Grover after a game like this as he'll play back every goal accompanied by detailed analysis and include one or more "great" "big" "huge' saves by the Flower, replay(s).

Then he'll go to Dan's press conference. Dan's intake of breath before answering any question will be thirty seconds minimum.

Unless he's going until 8 o'clock, Rob from S. baldwin won't even get on.
