I still think Staal hitting the post in game one changed the series. That doesn't mean we wouldn't have lost a long series, but their young guys wouldn't have developed as much confidence as quickly. However, Philly hit two posts early in game 5, or we could already be gofling.

I am impressed with Giroux and his intensity. He's the MVP of this series. The Pens used to have players with that intensity.

Where in the HELL did this Giroux guy come from...drafted in 2006, when the Pens (ALREADY stacked at center and deficient on the wing) drafted 2nd overall? Whom did they select with that #2 pick...then relegate to the 3rd line???

I think the Bruins or the Rangers would beat the Flyers (teams that actually play defense and get good goaltending). However, if neither of those teams makes it through the 1st round (at least we aren't the 1st seed on the verge of losing to Ottawa ?!), I have a feeling the Flyers are going to the Cup finals. It will be up to Nashville or St. Louis to stop them there.
