It took until last night for me to be able watch hockey again.
So I guess I'm over it?

I didn't even watch the third period. By the time the 2nd intermission was over, I was happily playing my Xbox and just laughing at how pathetic the team was.

I usually don't want to watch hockey anymore until the Finals when the Pens lose out. I just get so revved up for the Pens that when they're done I just feel exhausted with hockey.

Probably training camp for me. While the whole situation won't affect me in any meaningful way, I will continue to be disappoint every time I happen to think about these playoffs and this team. The change in offensive approach, failure to adjust the PK and a repeat of the Awful Fleury just continue to baffle me.
These will also unfortunately stick in my head throughout all next season and will only be mitigated by a strong playoff showing, which unfortunately will not have the chance to come around for another year.

I'm over it. I thought the series was over after game 3, & though 4 & 5 gave me hope, but given games 1, 2 & 3, game 6 wasn't a huge surprise.
I'm just more looking forward to the offseason & the draft & hoping that Shero makes some good moves.

Pretty much over it, but 'when philly is out' should be an option.

If DB isn't fired, what are the percentages that fans leave the bandwagon, percentages that join the wagon? I hope more leave than stay

Since "After Game 3" wasn't an option I took the next closest choice.

I moved on after Game 3. That was the point it was over for me.
Who put up the Pens will win the cup thread after the nashville game? I blame them.

Me too.
Honestly the older I get the less emotionally invested I get. Just so many other things going on in life. Hockey is just a game.

I put training camp.. I have Center Ice and watch lots and lots of hockey being a college student, so it still definitely sucks to watch games and know the Pens are out. And all summer as we get reminded thoughout the draft and free agency of whom the Cup winner is, why Shero had to trade whomever he trades, etc. will still suck.
Until we start the new season for a chance at redemption..

I find this happening to me as well. About 10 years ago, I'd still be bothered. Now, it's "meh" and I move on.

After Game 3 I "knew" the Penguins wouldn't advance, and figured they'd probably get swept. So the extra couple games were a bonus as far as I was concerned. While I'm disappointed, the only upside is I don't have to schedule around the games now. Looking forward to the offseason and seeing the new, improved Penguins next year.
