unless a goalie is SO much better than anyone else, never should they be nominated for the hart. i don't think henry's season fits that bill. stamkos is great, but too much a sniper and not much else imo.

i acknowledged he is great, but 60 and 37 are sniper #'s. very brett hull'esque. he's a shoot first player. not a knock, just what he is. the fact tampa missed the playoffs factors in too. giroux should have been the nominee over stamkos.

Yeah, goalies shouldn't win the Hart unless the circumstances are exceptional. Tampa Bay didn't make the playoffs so no Hart trophy for Stamkos. Easy win for Malkin in my opinion.

I wasn't taking a shot at Malkin, only stating that knowing his persona he is not going to relish the MVP award after that playoff. It's actually a compliment.
