I think to pry Weber from Nashville, it would take Letang. His nice cap hit for the next two would be appealing to them. I'd have to think pretty hard about that. It'd be tough to trade a fan favorite like Letang, and you would have to find a way to fit Weber's salary. But Weber is better, and the Pens have Despres and Morrow coming up to pick up the slack, not to mention that you have to have some concerns with Letang's durability going forward.

Didn't he score a big PP goal last night? Plus Ovechkin is not where near on the level he was. Plus ovechkin has always been me me me first player. Malkin has never been like that. Also Malkin is a very good back checker and defenders.

As I said, Michel Therrien had him playing DEFENSIVELY, too. He's totally lost that. Yes, Ovie had a PP goal while playing . . . that is my point! You don't need ONE GUY to SCORE ALL YOUR GOALS. It has to be a TEAM EFFORT and that is what Dale Hunter is trying to teach Ovie. Any my answer is YES, Geno often tries to do everything himself - not to mention the horrible giveaways that result. I don't WANT to see Malkin go as he is fun to watch, but if sacrificing one player means winning the Cup (like Washington's theory), then it must be done. And I would keep Staal over Malkin. Just my opinion.
