6 in a row on the road...then 7 in a row at home? the last 3 of the year on the road? that schedule sucks.

The last 3 on the road is because of the Frozen Four.
Not sure about the others.

Columbus game. yessssss. I had an easy time getting tickets two years ago. Hopefully they don't wise up and stop selling tickets to Pittsburgh people.

I think road trip wise (for me) it's pretty good. For the Pens, it's stinky.

I got you, they'll sell to Maryland people.
Also, not a lot of sets of two games on the weekend for me until next year. Sucks a lot.

i dont think columbus is in any position where they can afford to discriminate over who buys tickets to games. especially in november.

Do the pens or the league decide the game time and if it's the pens what do they have against saturday night games?

Tough decision on what other road game(s) besides the obligatory columbus invasion I wanna try. Went to san Jose and Colorado last year.

I haven't looked it, but I am sure the schedule is awful and proof the NHL hates the Pens and wants them to fail.

The 3 teams from the Western Conference that we play twice are Detroit, St. Louis and Minnesota.

7 PM on New Year's Eve (Was) - wonder if that time will change.
Flyers are here only late in the season - 2/12, 2/20 & 3/24.
No division home games in April; last division home game is 3/30 vs NYI.
Compared to this past year, with two weekends in Florida, this schedule is a bummer the Florida trip:
Tue, 2/26 (@ TB) & Thu, 2/28 (@ Fla)
Thu, 4/11 (@ TB) & Sat, 4/13 (@ Fla) - last game of the season & Frozen Four weekend
For the early-to-bed folks, it's a good schedule:
1 game at 10:00 (Fri, Jan 11 @ Ducks)
1 game at 9:00 (Sat, Jan 19 @ Wild)
1 game at 8:30 (Mon, Nov 5 @ Blackhawks)

Lack of Saturday games is very disappointing. Only four Saturday home games all season, and every one has an afternoon faceoff. Nice for families but not for folks who would like to go to a game and then enjoy other activities in town. So much for the CEC helping businesses (restaurants) in the Fifth Avenue corridor.
Do teams have any say in their own scheduling? The Pens have been kicked out of the building at the end of October/beginning of November for the circus for years, but fourteen sets of back to back games? I wish that they would tell the NHL no, we're not doing that.

Only one west coast trip Jan 11 and 12 and it's in a long lull between Jan 8 and Jan 16.
Back-to-back series:
Pit-Buff
Pitt-Ott
Columbus-NJ
Pitt-Ott
Pitt-Bos
Pitt-Wash
Pitt-NYI
Pitt-NJ
Ana-Phx
Buff-Car
Mon-Pitt
Tor-Pitt
Pitt-Pitt
The last 12 games are every other day. That's sweet.
