It has to get brought up, with staal traded and 10 mil in cap space, do we stand a realistic chance at getting praise?
We'd lose staal but gain two very good piers in suter and praise

When the Staal trade was announced Pierre said the he knows the pens are going hard after Parise

I think you can praise Shero for the deal, but not if he signs Ryan Suter only to turn the guy into a pier. Suter is a damn fine defenseman, but he'd make a lousy raised structure built over water.
