Love the NHL Giving us the homestand when it counts

Great timing to solidify lines/trades, things of the nature. Not an easy schedule, but a well timed homestand none-the-less. God the rest of the schedule was all over the place.

Also, love seeing those throw away games against the Islanders piling up at crunch time.

We didn't so well last season against them when the division was up for grabs.

Is this the year the Frozen Four is in Pittsburgh? I'm guessing that wouldn't alter the schedule for any more than about a week.

This year's schedule has a whole lot of 'rare' for many teams. Lots of long home stands and road trips.
