For me it was Naslund. Obviously, he ended up having a very good career, but he really wasn't that impressive with the Pens, looking like any numbers of other skilled European players who just couldn't quite put it together in the NHL. Nonetheless, I had a soft spot for that sort of player and vociferously defended Naslund against detractors.

Thunder Bay's favorite son, Bob Battleship Kelly. He made speed bags of many opponents’ faces! Additionally, he scored 27 goals with 24 assists one season.
