Well its week to week, but still a chance to get injured over there and then when the season eventually starts up, he is useless to the pens. But I see more and more NHL'ers doing this for the upcoming season

I'd be more afraid for Sid's health playing in Russia than playing in any other country, especially because of that Chekov goon team.

I enjoy that Malkin wants to play more hockey. If he gets hurt, he gets hurt. I can't really find fault even if he did get hurt, because it's on the owners that would presumably "lock" the players out if it goes this route.

I agree. The plus side to this is when the season eventually starts, he'll be in game shape already.

Its terrifying... but lets not forget Cherepanov was taking PEDs and there really wasn't anything trainers could do
