Yeah my only hesitation with joining is that my cousin and I are attached at the hip with the NHL games, and you guys were trying to keep it 1v1, so we may just hop on another server.

we'll see how the first run goes. i'd like to think that everyone will stick it out all the way through, but that probably isn't realistic... maybe you could both have a team if there is another go around?? there has to be a time that you guys would be able to sprinkle a few versus games in around all the eashl that you play, yes?

There is no fantasy draft. The only options for current NHLers are to keep existing rosters, or randomize rosters.

There is an NHL entry draft, but it is not done live. You rank your picks prior to the entry draft, and then the computer automatically drafts for you on your behalf.

We don't get the game released in Australia until Sept 13 and release dates typically aren't set in stone here. If someone desperately wants in and wants Phoenix i'll step aside as to not hold things up if you want to get going asap

Dude don't worry about it. I recommend we start the league on the 13th. I think that was the plan all along. You're good.

i am thinking we could start it on the 16th, that way everyone will have the weekend to figure the game out a little bit...
we play 2 weeks of the nhl schedule at a time in 7-10 days... i don't want it to take forever, but i don't want it to seem like we're rushed into playing a ton of games in a short amount of time.
it will more than likely be about 7 games a week, at a 1/2 hour a piece?

I'm not concerned about the playing time, more concerned about the logistics of working out times and dates with everyone you are playing in a given stretch. I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Shouldn't be a problem...I'll be monitoring the standings thread and see how it goes for everyone to start. We play a ton, though, so we'd be on board probably.

I would prefer this to be honest, I just don't think it's realistic... I had the doc open for 2 days and go in there to see the N bomb being dropped. Not cool.
