According to Czech daily MF Dnes, NHLPA recommended its members to stop playing for their current (European) teams until at least 10/23. It looks like the lockout end may be near.

As respectable as you can get (No. 1 daily in the country). Here is the update:
The only issue about the recommendation now is whether it was meant to ask not to play at all vs. not to enter into any *new* contracts (i.e., for the players that haven't signed anything yet).
Regardless, Jagr (and likely all Kladno players) will continue playing until they are called to training camps (Kladno already sold out the 16,000+ O2 Arena for the next game against league-leading Kometa Brno). Hanzal and M. Michalek (both HC Ceske Budejovice), on the other hand, sat out today's game.
GMs of the Czech teams are not very pleased - they claim the players signed contracts allowing them to walk away once the lockout ends, not once there is a NHLPA vote scheduled (which I think is a valid point).

Update: The title of the thread changed based on Martin Hanzal's quote (he took part in NHLPA teleconference on Tuesday):
"We got a recommendation from the association not to play. It's mainly for those who haven't started yet. Guys who have been playing for some time are a different situation."
